Comhlacht Forbartha Áitiúil Acla’s New Fetac level 5 e-Business & ECDL course to commence in September 2010

Applications are now being sought for people interested in a new 25 week part-time FETAC Level 5 e-Business & ECDL course. If there are sufficient applicants the course will be delivered by CFÁA in co-operation with FAS.

 Preference will be given to those who have not previously undertaken similar training.

A training allowance will be paid; childcare and travel subsidies may also be available.

Island life – the islands of Ireland

Images of daily life on the islands surrounding Ireland’s coastline are the subject of an exhibition entitled Island life – the islands of Ireland, assembled by the National Library of Ireland from its National Photographic Archive collections.  Images of life in the early twentieth century on Ireland’s Donegal, Mayo and Galway islands form the exhibition currently on display at Áras Forbairt Acla, Keel, Achill Island, courtesy of The National Library. The exhibition will be on view until 28th August 2010, the exhibition can be viewed from Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 4:30pm
