Local Development Social Inclusion (LDSIP)

The Local Development Social Inclusion Programme is designed to counter disadvantage and to promote equality, social and economic inclusion.

CFÁA delivers LDSIP under three separate measures. Each one is specifically designed to target
the most marginalized in society.

Measure A: Services to the Unemployed
Measure B: Community Development
Measure C: Community Based Youth Initiatives

Target groups

Long-term unemployed · Disadvantaged women · Disadvantaged young people · Travellers · Older people · Disabled people · Homeless people · Ex-prisoners and offenders · Low Income Farm Households, · Ethnic minorities · Substance misusers · Lone parents · The underemployed · Young people at risk · Disadvantaged
communities living in isolated rural areas or deprived urban areas.
