The main objective of Measure B is to enhance the capacity of people living in disadvantaged areas to participate fully in local development opportunities.

Supports under Measure B include:

a) Pre-development and foundation work with the target groups
b) Support for new and established community groups, focusing on the needs of the target groups
c) Support for networks and collaborations focused on disadvantage
d) Research activities and the dissemination of information

e) Provision of small scale environmental and community infrastructure
